Help stop the stigma of substance use disorders and join us downtown Ann Arbor for the Washtenaw Recovery Advocacy Project's 4th Annual Walk and Rally. If you are a person in recovery, a family member, or a recovery ally, this is the place to be on June 9th!
In the spirit of continuing to engage our community in conversation about substance use disorders and the subsequent battle against stigma concerning it, the Washtenaw Recovery Advocacy Project (WRAP) and Home Of New Vision are proud to present our Fourth Annual Recovery Walk taking place at Liberty Plaza in Ann Arbor on Saturday June 9th, 2018.
This year's Recovery Walk will be a safe space where members of the recovery community can enjoy and engage in an activity with other like-minded individuals. Our past Recovery Walks have attracted upwards of 450+ attendees as well as allies, supporters and volunteers who've cheered us on enthusiastically.
We will have food and refreshments, also t-shirts and other assorted items available to our attendants at no cost! In addition, we will also have a range of speakers present who will each give their unique individual takes on what it means to them to reduce stigma and raise awareness on issues concerning substance use disorder.
